SMS/Text Messaging Terms of Service

1. Program Description
Beacon Analytics ("we," "us," "our") offers an SMS/text messaging notification service to registered users of our platform. By opting in, you will receive automated text messages related to your account activity, including but not limited to:
- Account alerts and security notifications
- Feedback and review notifications
- AI analysis results and insights
- KPI threshold alerts
- Roadmap and status change updates
- Team activity notifications
- Platform announcements and service updates
2. Consent and Opt-In
By checking the "Opt in to SMS/Text Notifications" checkbox on your Profile Settings page and providing your mobile phone number, you expressly consent to receive automated text messages from Beacon Analytics at the phone number you provided.
Your consent is entirely voluntary. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Beacon Analytics. You may use all features of our platform without opting in to SMS notifications.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your notification preferences and account activity. You control which categories of notifications are delivered via SMS through your Profile Settings. You may receive anywhere from 0 to approximately 50 messages per month depending on your configuration and activity level.
4. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier apply to all text messages sent and received. Beacon Analytics does not charge any additional fees for SMS notifications. Contact your mobile carrier for details about your messaging plan.
5. Opt-Out / STOP
You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time using any of the following methods:
- Reply STOP: Reply STOP to any text message you receive from us. You will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.
- Profile Settings: Uncheck the "Opt in to SMS/Text Notifications" checkbox on your Profile Settings page.
- Email: Contact us at [email protected] and request to be removed from SMS notifications.
After opting out, you may continue to receive a limited number of messages for a short period while your request is processed. Opting out of SMS does not affect your other notification channels (email, push, in-app).

7. Privacy and Data Protection
We take your privacy seriously. The following commitments apply to all SMS-related data:
- No Sharing: We will not sell, share, rent, or distribute your mobile phone number or any SMS opt-in data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- No Third-Party Marketing: All text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
- Data Security: Your phone number and consent records are stored securely using industry-standard encryption and access controls.
- Consent Records: We maintain records of your opt-in consent, including the date, time, and method of consent, as required by applicable regulations.

8. Supported Carriers
Our SMS service is compatible with most major US mobile carriers, including but not limited to: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, US Cellular, and their MVNOs. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these SMS Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via text message or through your account dashboard. Continued use of the SMS service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
